Allow me to depict this scene. On December 18th, 2020, it is a bright and early 7 in the morning. We experienced a small snowfall the evening prior. Mechanics were shoveling snow and rearranging vehicles outside the dealership where I was employed at the time. They reported hearing a really loud screech coming from beneath one of the vehicles, which, upon inspection, turned out to be a cat. After they freed her, they placed her in a little box along with many sweaters. Throughout my whole eight-hour shift, she sat in that box next me. No one came forward to claim the cat, despite my coworkers and I spreading the photo of it to everyone we knew who lived in the neighborhood all day long. as a result, I simply took her home. My partner and I did wind up getting into a major argument because of it. I remain utterly perplexing to this day as to why we did. Picture yourself becoming angry at someone only for rescuing a distressed animal.

In the time that has passed, she has transformed into my loyal minion of darkness. She has slept in my bed with me by my side since the first day she came home with me. Because my hedgehog is named Albus Dumblehog, I was originally thinking of giving her a Harry Potter-themed name. However, I ultimately chose the Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis. In the beginning, I must confess, I felt a slight sense of fear towards her. She has the most intense green eyes of any cat I've ever seen, and I'm an adult who has never truly had a cat of her own. Artemis possesses an intriguing character. I can state without a doubt that she is completely kind and innocent. In the three years that I have owned her, she has never hissed or scratched at anyone with her claws. Curiosity and gentleness are her greatest traits. She has never tipped over anything or jumped onto an unattended surface, so I never have to fret over her doing so. She mostly just climbs her trees, but every once in a while she'll hop up on my desk to join me in watching videos.

Cats offer a unique form of affection. because their independence is evident when they opt to spend all their time with you, a clear sign of their love. Before this cat entered my life, I honestly believe I had never felt love. She has kissed me when she seemed to know I needed solace, wiped away tears from my face with her paws, and soothed me with her purrs. Cats offer a unique form of affection. Their decision to spend all their time with you is a clear indication of their love for you, especially considering how independent they are. Before this cat entered my life, I honestly believe I had never felt love. As if sensing my need for solace, she has kissed me and used her paws to wipe away my tears. Every night before I go to sleep, her purrs help me relax. She has made me smile even when life seems to be throwing me a curveball after curveball. The value of this animal to my life is immeasurable, and I doubt words could do it justice. The cosmos must have seen that I was about to crumble under the weight of the pandemic because it sent her to assist me get back on my feet.
